DESCRIPTION

The active substance of Waklert is armodafinil – the R-enantiomer of modafinil with a longer half-life. Armodafinil’s mechanism of action is not fully determined. Armodafinil is an indirect dopamine receptor agonist; it binds to the dopamine transporter and inhibits dopamine reuptake, thus increasing extracellular dopamine levels in some brain regions. The drug has not only wakefulness-promoting effects and the ability to increase locomotor activity but also provides psychoactive and euphoric effects, improves mood, perception, thinking, and feelings, i.e., has a stimulating effect.

INSTRUCTIONS & DOSAGE

Active substance: armodafinil 150mg

For oral administration. The pill should be swallowed with water.

Recommended dose of Waklert is 150 mg once a day in the morning or early afternoon. In the case of shift work sleep disorder, the pill should be taken one hour before work.
